Let's talk
Accepting you as you are. Offering support, openness and understanding.
I’m Marja, an international, currently based in the rainy city of Bergen, Norway. ☔️
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015 in Davao, Philippines and my journey brought me to Bergen, Norway, where I learned to maneuver life as an immigrant in a completely new country and everything that came along with it, such as learning a new language and adapting to the culture. This journey was and still is a process of change as I find myself in a position of never ending change while learning how to sit with it.
Currently I am undergoing my third year of Psychotherapy training at the Norwegian Gestalt Institute in Oslo. With the support of my teachers and regular supervision, I am honing my skills to provide compassionate, holistic support through talk therapy.
If you have stumbled across this page, welcome! Going through life's uncertainties and changes are a never ending experience in life. I am dedicated to helping individuals explore their inner worlds, develop self-awareness, and navigate life’s challenges with better clarity and balance - free of judgment. Welcome to the therapy room as you are.
Your student therapist, Marja

How I work
I use gestalt psychotherapy, a holistic approach to personal growth. Gestalt therapy is a client-centered approach that focuses on self-awareness, personal responsibility, and living in the present moment.
Through dialogue, experiential exercises, and mindfulness techniques, clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
By exploring unfinished business and patterns in relationships, gestalt therapy helps individuals integrate different aspects of themselves, leading to greater self-acceptance and emotional well-being.
This empowering approach fosters growth by encouraging authenticity, awareness, and meaningful connections in daily life.
